SHARONVILLE, OHIO — A real estate agent is being disciplined by the state real estate commission after admitting to an affair with a client, one which frequently took place in vacant properties on the market.

In 2014, realtor Roy Webb was asked to assist with a personal real estate transaction by a client whose wife was also an agent. The man was under the impression Webb and his wife were going to open houses together to work out the deal, but he later found out they were actually meeting up at the empty townhouses to have sex.

The man has since complained about Webb’s poor ethics to the Ohio Real Estate Commission, which is punishing him by revoking his realtor license for 10 days, forcing him to take classes, and fining him $1000. Webb has since apologized for his conduct, and says he is seeking counselling.
