’MURICA — People covering their naked bodies with a single digit is the latest thing to take social media by storm.

Move over, mannequin challenge. The one finger selfie is upon us and everyone approves.

According to The Daily Dot, the challenge was inspired by a risque drawing by Japanese anime artist Sky-FreeDom. It involves taking a standard mirror selfie but with a not-safe-for-work twist as challengers attempt to cover both the breast and crotch area using only one finger.

YouTuber Aimee Davison claims she saw the photo and decided to shoot a video of her trying out the challenge. Though initially confused, Davison quickly manages to figure out the right angle to pull it off.

Despite the challenge being mostly directed at women, guys have been jumping on the bandwagon too. Even those who would rather not flaunt it can still participate by drawing.

With more and more taking up the challenge, men around the world are guaranteed to be glued to their screens. And while the challenge hasn’t made it to Hollywood just yet, it’s only a matter of time.
